Design Rationale

EPSA has a small but fantastic team, led by women, and runs without the help of large contributions and donations, producing handcrafted items. The brand and logo design needed to create a recognizable wordmark and image that speaks to the groundbreaking, empowering and uplifting work done by the organization.

The bright complementary colours reflect the vitality of the team at EPSA, and their cutting-edge work transforming lives throughout Nepal. The font ‘Blacker Sans’ is a perfect balance between modern and hand-made, with its slanted strokes complementing the logo’s flow and its hand-drawn aesthetic.
